栽花、养狗、育子

Polar 就这样的离开尘世了，我辜负了那些我答应过要好好照顾她的朋友。

说实在的，看着她如此受苦，我也不忍心她多留受苦：前阵子的皮肤病，后来治好一段时间后，又发烧、咳嗽、流鼻涕，原来是蚊虫病，带她去开刀，后来断食了好几天，我也知道日子不多了。

妈妈和姐姐因此哭了好几天，我却铁石心肠，难道我已经看透“生老病死”这常态？

爸爸反问姐姐，在婆婆生病去世的时候，是否也这样伤心？

那时我也没哭，也做了许多心理准备，我只是打从心里的觉得，在我们相处的这段日子里，我已经好好地对待她了。

或许在我的信仰里，死不是生命的结束，而是另一个生命的开始吧。

我姐姐在她的Blog里面也提过，如果一对夫妻真的要生子，可以考虑从“栽花、养狗”这阶段来培养责任心与耐性，毕竟“栽花”是从种子发芽、到幼苗、再到开花结果的生命过程；“养狗”是十五年的青春；而“育子”却是一辈子的事。

我曾经用了一年的时间来让一颗绿豆长成20cm的树苗，然后结了20粒“小绿豆”，最后它是被剪草工人不分青红皂白地斩成一半的。

口琴、吉它和西洋笛

昨晚是两个星期半后第一次吹口琴，和juniors学学基本功，很有趣下下。

之前在美丽的 Hall 7 被隔离的两个星期，我没有带口琴去吹，日子在上网和读书中度过（筹备VIVACE IX miss 了两个星期的课）。回到亲爱的房间后，看见亲爱的roommate在练 tongue block，我可不行了，要准备星期一的Hydraulics的CA（90分，呵呵～），考完后的当晚就松懈下来。。。。。。

前阵子一直在练口琴，手痒痒，抓了Andy的吉它来弹弹。Simon和Andy可有耳福了，一弹就弹了一个钟头。

从《依然是朋友》那首改给Timmy的歌、

《街角的祝福》那首经常用来skip人的歌、

《我是一只小小小小鸟》那梁文福的考题、

《Yesterday》是我第一首掌握的歌、

《Hey Jude》那我最爱的歌、

《后来》就像那一场怎么“弹”也“弹”不成的恋爱一样、

一直到那首越弹越好听的《close to you》，

还挑战了《ABBA Gold Medley》，

结果弹到《Mamma Mia》的过门，我和在旁边的Simon都忍不住爆笑了，极高难度，哈哈。

是不是看来我很厉害？不要崇拜我啦，我只掌握三种乐器：口琴、吉它和西洋笛(直笛)。

绿豆汤

绿豆汤很神奇，清热解毒，是治水痘的良方。

煲绿豆也很简单，但要煮到好吃就有点难。

以前在“仁爱凉茶店”工作时，就尝到所谓“全亚庇最好吃的绿豆西米露”，每晚都会偷喝一碗。老板娘也对我很好，那真是辛酸又甜美的经历啊。

现在连续在hall 7煲了5次，怎么煲也熬不出那个味道。

味道，或许就像绿豆汤那样神奇吧。

处理垃圾。。。

上个星期真的是尝试了许多新鲜事。

28/08（四） ：和基德还有几位coursemates，在Can 11进行垃圾分类。不用说，里面一定相当“芬香”（对许多微生物而言），分类过后，我们必须测量垃圾的重量，然后计算某种垃圾所占有的百分比（质量）。该死的，苍蝇来凑热闹还不用紧，手指还被一只鱼骨刺到差点流血，幸好我们全副武装，报纸口罩还有手套！这是Solid waste management 的CA，多谢Prof Wong，垃圾变黄金也。

过后，我们必须和买水档的幽默Uncle——Mr Chan想出一个能减少垃圾量和处理垃圾成本的对策。有空再update大家这project的进展。

29/08（五）：小弟终于明白新加坡怎么处理她一天所生产出来的垃圾了（2006：一万四千三百公吨！），Prof Wong精心安排了一个去Tuas South Incineration Plant 和Tuas Marine Transfer Station的site visit！有兴趣者请往下看。

30/08（六）：VIVACE IX “记意中的记忆”口琴演奏会。Supper过后，发烧了。应该是太累的关系。

31/08（日）：还在烧着，还是硬着头皮去参与HW210 Technical Communication的discussion，teammate有Earthlink的member，我们当然是要检讨NTU学生如此可耻的recycling habits。很有意义咧！我也更明白了NTU的垃圾处理系统和回收状况。

01/09（一）：烧退了，去上课，身上的红点越来越多；去看医生，水痘，要在hall 7这天堂被隔离两个星期，真的要谢谢那个叫我星期二才去看医生的Andy咯～

基本上咧，新加坡的垃圾都是拿去焚化和recycle的啦。2006年，有50.8%的垃圾都拿去recycle了，剩余的都运去4个不同的焚化场去：Senoko，Ulu Pandan，Tuas和Tuas south incineration plants。基本上，他们都是Waste to energy plant，会把热能转换成电能发电，然后剩余的Ash将会被运到Tuas Marine Transfer Station，再分类，再船运去新加坡唯一的landfill，Pulau Semakau。

It has been a long time after my previous English blog. Since everyone is blogging about VIVACE IX, now it is my turn. Plus, I am quarantined and have so much free time. Let me write it in English, haha~

What I want to share, there is a lots. I am afraid that I cannot list all of them out one by one. There are so many people that I wish to appreciate. There are some role-playing people; the others may miss them in their “thank you” list.

So, please let me list them out, and take your time.

Vice-chairperson, Lim Wan Xin.
May be until now, a week after our actual event, most of the people still may not know who is my partner. Although you miss the chance to perform on the stage, there is NEVER a rule stated that vice-chair MUST be a player.

ADM auditorium is a totally new venue for us, if you did not coordinate other non-players committees during rehearsal; the situation might become worse, isn’t it? There are million of possibilities if certain event did not come out in a specific timeline. So, no point by discussing those hypotheses. Life is easy!

All maincomm and subcomm
All of you are very responsible. None of you ignores the orders I send to you. My requirements may be a bit high, but you did it or at least attempted it. You are AWESOME!

Performers
No performance is perfect. Thanks for your effort and precious time. 54 is a breakthrough in quantity, and also in quality (that is unexpected!) May be I am too nervous during the concert and did not pay enough attention to enjoy the music that came out from our mouths.

Mucha gracias for teaching and guiding us. Zhan Rong, two of us have matched perfectly once time in the most complicated lines of SONATA score! Sorry for being too nervous in the actual day. ><

If I am 1mm filter net, then you are the 1μm filter with Reverse Osmosis technologies. (Ok, it is my lecture note, will not show it again during concert.) We know that what you did is for the benefits of concert, although those maincomm occasionally complaint you behind. Haha!

Lun Ming, General helper
I think you are the only one who willing to volunteer yourself as a general helper after buying the ticket. I approve this offer as I know you want to pay in return for what I have been helped for Music Express. Thanks anyway!

Yuan Siang & Kai Huan
Thanks Ah Siang for lending and settling the SU van for VIVACE IX and Kai Huan as well, as a van driver. Or else, Kenneth & Wan Peng will cry out loud.

落叶归根

三年前，我像小哈利 那样坐在邓不利多 的面前，听着他述说霍格兹 的故事。

晚风习习，快要日落的金黄色撒遍在这不为人知的花园里。石椅上还存有我们的体温，你指着那一颗四十五岁的大树，那里有一片泛黄色的落叶，随着微风，轻轻地不断的转呀转，顺从着风的姿势，与地的引力，慢慢的降落在树根的土壤旁。

我还记得，你回答我：“其实答案很简单，就像那一片叶子般，落叶归根，那就是壮大这棵大树的养分了。”

在沉思镜中，邓不利多 对哈利 撒了谎，他也在逃避，然而哈利 还要等到邓不利多 不在时才明白这种人性的缺陷。如果可以，我会对哈利 说，这就是人生。

没有人是完美的，设定的人和被设定的人都是痛苦的。
