The location of Recycling bins (CRD) in Singapore

This photo album shows the pictures of 1200++ Centralised Recycling Depositories (CRDs–HDB Recycling Bins) in Singapore. We have spent 3 months to take all CRDs photo (some of those bins were missing) and have marked the location of them in maps during my Industrial Attachment period in NEA.

After that, I uploaded all photos to picasa, (http://picasaweb.google.com/bern0004) and marked their location in Google map. If a user searches any public photos in Google Map, he/she will come across these photos during zoom in.

The data may be incomplete, as we did not count in those “missing bins” and the exact location will be shifted by some waste management company workers. However, the resolution of this album is higher than Zero Waste Singapore, which map all recycling bins based on the 2007 NEA data.

Please leave comment(s) in those photo albums, especially when that particular bin is shifted to another new location. The location of CRD will be reviewed in near future. Therefore, the accuracy of these album may last until year 2010.

Overall

The map in the right side shows the location of each album. Let say, I click “Aljunied” album. The window will appear like below:

untitled

18 photos of recycling bins will be displayed. The map in the right side shows the location of these 18 bins.

If the first picture “Blk 1 Jalan Batu” (address of that bin) is clicked, we will see the below page. The map in right side will show the location of that particular bin.

Hope you will enjoy my hardwork.😉
